From Amateur to Professional
Being an amateur photographer for over 30 years has afforded me a unique opportunity to constantly improve the art form. Likewise, having a penchant for flight was also in the back of my mind. Why not combine the two! In 2019, after months of study, I passed the FAA Part 107 small unmanned aircraft system exam, obtained the necessary insurance to protect myself and my clients, and in 2020 created SkyView Aerial Concepts, LLC. There are rapid advancements being made in the Drone industry from home delivery of packages, thermo-mapping of landscape for construction, business marketing, to the every popular Real Estate Market and so much more.
When choosing a remote drone pilot for your upcoming project or marketing needs, always ask to see their FAA License and Proof of Insurance! Don’t be fooled by hobbyists claiming to be “in the process” of obtaining these necessary credentials.
